GEEZ! You're really kickin' it this summer. I'm jealous. I've only seen
Mission Impossible 2 and Gladiator (which came out before memorial day and
that's cheating!). Mission Impossible 2 was a superhero movie, so I liked it
in the way I liked that 1993 Captain America movie. Whenever he puts on his
black costume, gets on his motorcycle, "The Cruise Missile" and fights one
dimensional bad guys and risks his life over a girl he just met, I'm
entertained. There was also a lot of Miami Vice in the movie, I can only
point to the numerous shot of the shoreline from the ocean and it's overly
serious tone and 70/30 drama/kickass ration to measure it against your
average Vice episode.
